Buckle Beeper and Chair Alert - PAtent issued
Every successful business requires a combination of people to create, manufacture and market the product. I have spent the last 22 years of my life as a Doctor, and that is something I believe I am pretty good at. However, manufacturing, packaging distributing and marketing is not my forte, and I do not pretend to be something I am not. I had and idea, created it, filed all of the patents, had designs made, 3D animations and even have a 3D prototype made. My Utility Patent was issued on May 9, 2017. I have invested over $55,000 of my own capital, because I believe in this product so much. I am not an expert in taking products to the next level though, and want a partner or partners to help me achieve this. My goal is to partner with the right people or company to secure a licensing deal, or an individual who has experience negotiating licensing deals. If you interested in manufacturing this product, I am happy to discuss details as well, with the provision that the manufacturing costs, marketing and liability do not become my responsibility. I am willing to be generous with equity in exchange for partnering with the right person.

It has been said that the best ideas arise from necessity. After being a fraction of a second away from watching my son fall from his highchair, I knew something had to be done. A lot of work has been put into this product, and now I am ready to partner with the right person/company to make this available to everyone.

December 1, 2014 – My 2 1/2 year-old son figures out how to undo his high chair buckle and nearly falls onto the tile floor. Internet search reveals nothing is available to solve this problem. First drawing is completed.
December 8, 2014– Meeting with Patent Attorney to perform full USPTO Patent Search. 2 weeks later, results show there is nothing like this on the market.
December 20-30 – Multiple meetings with an engineer to design the product specifications.
January, 2015 - Full UTILITY PATENT is filed with the United States Patent Attorneys Office with new drawings.
February-April 2015 - 3D animation is rendered and a 2-minute infomercial is completed by graphic design studio.
May 2015 - 3D printer prototype is manufactured
June 3rd, 2015 - Application is submitted to Shark Tank. Will be attending OPEN CASTING CALL July 7th in Los Angeles...Wish me luck!
July 7th, 2015. Casting directors liked the idea, but with no sales and no patent issued (yet), said I should come back when I have one or the other :(
May 9th, 2017 - UTILITY PATENT ISSUED
